on Water brings you America’s first floating wedding chapel,
where your ceremony takes place upon the calm waters of
Florida’s west coast. Although there are many places to
have a wedding cruise, there is none quite like this.
The beautiful Floating Chapel
combines the traditional appeal of a church setting with the
natural beauty of Florida to create a completely unique
wedding experience. It’s the perfect blend for someone
looking for a beach wedding, who doesn’t want to miss out on
the environment of a chapel. With several windows lining the sides
of the chapel, your guests are surrounded by magnificent
scenery for the event. As well, the tops of the tall
windows are elaborate stained glass, adding to the charm and
beauty of the chapel. Music for before, after, and during
the ceremony is coordinated through our top quality sound
system. The stained glass windows, cathedral ceilings, and
pew seating complete the chapel’s elegant look, while our
outdoor decks allows for a scenic view.
We seat 100 guests in pews aboard the
Floating Chapel on the Bay, as well as the capacity for up
to 125 people to be on the boat, providing not only a large
seating capacity, but also plenty of room for large bridal
parties or guest speakers. There is also a private bridal
sanctuary on board, with its own bathroom and seating area,
for the bride to finish her preparations before the wedding,
as we cruise to our destination.
Located at the Pier
in the heart of Downtown
St. Petersburg Weddings on Water is perfectly situated
to accommodate those interested in having their wedding on
Tampa Bay. We are also conveniently located to all
those in Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Sarasota
County, and Manatee County who are not looking to travel far
for their wedding.
We include in our rates: the Captain to
perform a non-denominational service, silk flowers
decorating the chapel, the use of a silk flower bouquet and
boutonniere if desired, and all the music
for the duration of your cruise. Although we include these
features in our price, we welcome anyone to decorate with
their own flowers, provide their own music, or bring any
certified person of their choice to officiate the ceremony,
which gives the freedom to personalize any ceremony. Also
included in the pricing is the assistance of our
consultants, who will help organize and coordinate all the
elements of your wedding.
With Weddings on Water, you can chose
from multiple packages, catering to wedding parties of
varying sizes. Most ceremonies take place
anchored along Vinoy Park; however
the Floating Chapel can be brought many places accessible by
water in the St. Petersburg Bay area, including
seawalls and waterfront properties.
The Floating Chapel on the Bay can be
used for multiple purposes. We can also conduct renewal of
vows, commitment ceremonies, baby dedication
ceremonies, memorial
services, church group gatherings, or other services one
